About RestonTech

RestonTech was founded in March, 2002 by Alec Berry. Mr. Berry was the founder (in 1996) and former CTO of Exit1, Inc., a premier web development company.

While at Exit1, Mr. Berry designed and managed the network infrastructure for the company and many of its clients. Mr. Berry was also the lead developer of Exit1's most technically challenging projects, for clients such as AOL(/Time Warner), the Smithsonian Magazine, and ESPN.

Jeff Crowe joined the firm as a partner in July 2003. Mr. Crowe was also an alumnus of Exit1, where he survived in a variety of roles appropriate to a fast-growing start-up company in the go-go days of the Internet.

Prior to Exit1, Mr. Crowe spent almost 5 years at America Online in a variety of roles that included Programming, Production, and finally as International Product Manager for Community Products.

Mr. Berry and Mr. Crowe are both "old-school" Restonians, having lived (and worked whenever possible) in Reston for more than 30 years.
